What to expect |
We are a friendly rural church. You'll find smiles, friendly conversations, handshakes and hugs. We aren't super-spiritual beings. We're ordinary people just like you.
Our Sunday school adult groups begin with sharing joys, struggles and prayer requests. Then we seek to apply the Bible to our lives. We spend about 45 minutes discussing life issues. We have growth groups for all ages, children, youth, and adults. Our worship begins with a few announcements. No one will center you out, make you stand up or draw attention to you. We do lots of singing, utilizing guitars, voices and keyboards. We project our announcements, songs and sermon illustrations on a big screen. We sing modern choruses but also treasure some precious older hymns. Pastor Randy spends about 20 minutes bringing a relevant and inspirational message from the Bible. We close our time with prayers. During Pastor Randy's message, children aged 3-9 participate in Children's Church. We have a nursery for infants and toddlers. Our worship typically runs from 10:15 am to 11:30 am. We are pleased that our guests repeatedly tell us they felt closer to God while worshipping with us. |
Safety for your children: |
All of our children's workers work in teams and have successfully passed criminal and child abuse background screens. We train our workers and select only those who have the character and gifts to lovingly nurture children.
|
For persons with disabilities |
We aim to be an all-inclusive church. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have reserved parking spaces for those who have difficulty walking or are in wheelchairs. We have wheelchair accessible toilets. We have hearing assistance equipment in the sanctuary for those with hearing impairment. Our Sunday School group pastors attempt to make individualized allowances for children with special needs. We do our best to include as many special needs children as possible.
